Today our dear Secretary and I were given a Service Award by the Lagos Archdiocesan Laity Council (LALC) for our commitment and purposeful leadership and service to the Church and the Body of Christ in the last 5 years as the Deanery Laity Council Chairman. This Award is dedicated first to the Dean of Epe Deanery, Monsignor Gabriel Amolegbe for the consistent fatherly role he has played in my life and in the success recorded as of today. Secondly, this Award is dedicated to a Kind and beautiful Soul, our ever supportive @Unknown number  Chaplain, Very Rev. Fr. Michael Kendra Etegene for the  rare supports my Excos and I get from him. I have not really encountered a Priest of God so caring, kind, and supportive in a very unique way. May our Baba God bless him and grant him the desires of his heart through Christ our Lord Amen. My very Excos, particularly those who are still standing with us today, whether as elected or appointed to stand the gap. We have passed through crest and trough of issues for the sake of Christ. Believe me this Award is dedicated to you all. We were not, and we are not still working alone, you all are the strength and courage we have to dare to succeed. The Almighty Rewarder, our God Almighty, would reward you in measures beyond your imagination and expectation in Jesus Name Amen 🔥. By the Mercy and love of God, this service we all rendered and are still rendering in the Body of Christ shall be acceptable to God in Jesus Name Amen

This Award specifically  is a Clarion call for us to do more. Irrespective of the mind of the Church going forward, we assured you we would continue to work and serve in any space, place, environment and community we may found ourselves and as God wills. We are therefore praying for the sufficient strength to end strong and be counted by Heaven/Throne of Grace as worthy servants who have offered an acceptable service to the Church and the Body of Christ. 

We want to use this medium to thank everyone that represented Epe Deanery today at the Laity week opening ceremony. As you commit to His work and rejoice with us at this moment, God Himself would show you mercy and envelope you with joy and peace through Christ our Lord Amen 🔥
